Coatings are used for numerous applications. To repair worn parts, increase wear and corrosion resistance to many parts. Fieldco uses an HVOF spray system (High Velocity) to apply tungsten and numerous other coatings for higher bond strength and coating density. Fieldco also applies its single and twin arc thermal spray systems for heavy buildups and more common repairs and wear coatings.
Fieldco provides a complete grinding service for finishing and reconditioning parts. An essential part of this service is the precision grinding of work after metal spraying and welding, as well as the grinding of new components or of items that can be reclaimed undersize. Fieldco has recently expanded its grinding capacity to keep pace with the large volume of work in this area. The facilities offered by our large honing and lapping equipment expands the capacity offered by our cylindrical and surface grinders.
